Report a Claim
What to do if you have a loss
Our goal at Jewelers Mutual is to settle your claim as quickly as possible. We understand that a loss disrupts your business and, in many instances, your life. We depend on you to notify us promptly when a loss occurs and to provide the information we need to determine coverage and payment under your policy.
If you have a loss at your business, follow these procedures and refer to your policy for additional requirements.
If the loss is a result of a violation of law - such as a robbery, burglary, theft - report the incident to the police and report the loss to Jewelers' Security Alliance (JSA) at 800-537-0067 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org. We pay JSA membership dues for all eligible Jewelers Mutual commercial policyholders. JSA has working relationships with many law enforcement agencies, which may help in the apprehension of criminals, the recovery of your property, and the prevention of future losses in your area.
Attend to the injury of any employee, customer or bystander.
Record the circumstances of the loss while they are fresh in your mind.
