How to Create a Shipment on the Zing® Platform
Ship packages quickly and securely on the Zing platform with the JM™ Shipping Solution tool, which makes the task of shipping gems and jewelry simple! This video will walk you through how to create your first shipment.
After you’ve created your Zing platform account, and are logged in, navigate to the JM Shipping Solution tool on your dashboard.
Click “Start Shipping.”
First-time users will be prompted to add a payment method. Enter and save your credit card information and billing address.
Click the “Start” button to begin shipping. This is your shipping dashboard. From here you can get a quote, create a shipping label with or without insurance, track your packages, or report a claim.
Click “New Shipment” to create your first shipment. First-time users will be prompted with a few questions to finalize shipping and insurance pricing. Answer the questions and click “Submit.”
Create a New Shipment
Now you’re ready to create a new shipment. You’ll start by entering the origin and destination addresses. The origin address defaults for you. Review for completeness, adding information as necessary. Modify this section as needed if the package is being shipped from a different location. Next, use the search bar to enter the street address of your package destination. Choose the matching result from the list provided. The address will save to build your address book.
Once the origin and destination addresses are complete – choose your cargo type, value, carriers, service speed, weight, and packaging. If you are a Jewelers Mutual policyholder, your block policy shipping coverage is integrated into the platform and you should declare the full value you would claim if the package was lost.
Setting routinely used selections on this page can be accomplished using the “Create Shipment Preset” link at the top of the page. This will reduce your effort on future shipments. Click “Continue.” Carrier, service, and package options matching your criteria appear, along with pricing. Leverage various sorting features to narrow your result. Select the option you want to buy. Click “Continue.”
Review the shipment details for accuracy.
Add reference numbers, if desired, and the seal number from high security, inner packaging when required. At this point, you can either save your progress and pick it up later from the shipping dashboard or buy your label. You will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions before your first purchase. Review and click “I agree” to proceed. You’re done!
Now you can print, save, or email your label.
Review Shipment History
To review your shipment history or start another, click “Go to Shipping Dashboard.” You’ll see the shipment you created in the shipment summary section. The is your one-stop-shop to manage all of your shipments.

You can customize the columns of data displayed in your shipment history by clicking the book-like icon. Click this icon and a dropdown list with checkboxes will appear. You can invite other members of your organization to join you on the Zing platform.
Go to the Profile icon and select “Edit Information.” Click “Teams” and then “Invite New Users” to join you via expedited enrollment. Enter the person’s email, location and role – then click “Send Invite.” You now have all the basic information you need to complete a shipment using the JM Shipping Solution tool on the Zing Platform.
