BracletsAdmit it. The one thing that’s been a constant on your mind since the holiday weekend has been S-U-M-M-E-R. The sun, the surf, the styles, oh my!

Hang on to your wide-brimmed hats. We've got some haute summer jewelry trends to talk about.

You'll be happy to know that color is still on the radar as yellows and blues get added to the oranges and pinks of spring, but mixed with a vintage and contemporary flair.

Expect retro jewelry pieces like earrings and watches to make a return. And get ready to embrace bold and unexpected color combinations and large gemstones. Here’s what to watch for:

Choker necklaces

Wear it with an open-neck shirt or strapless, v-neck dress.

Blue

Blue is the color of the season and the year, from turquoise tones to navy, aqua and azure.

Sea inspired

Think sea-star-rings, pearl and fish-scale earrings, necklaces made of shells, iridescent crystals and other interesting jewelry can transform your look and give it a romantic edge.

Crosses

Regardless of your religious beliefs, crosses are back. Wear them small, big, bold, colorful, anything goes and they’ve been a hit on the runway.

Florals

Petals, buds and full floral arrangements will be seen in rings, necklaces, brooches and more.

Tiaras, barrettes, hair pins - hair jewelry is in. The bridal-type trend has been present on the runway as well as red carpet events and is sure to make a statement on the boardwalk this summer.

Summer travel plans?

Bring back your ethnic jewelry finds and flaunt them. Make a statement with your bright necklaces, large rings, earrings with feathers, fringe and knitted elements.
