Jewelers Mutual Group’s second annual jewelry industry thought leader retreat, featuring a diverse group of industry executives – both established on the rise – gathered for a weekend of networking, learning, and unmatched activities at the spectacular St. Regis Hotel in Deer Valley. Once again, Conversations in Park City will feature future-focused content not heard elsewhere from trends futurist and practitioner Jeff Weiner and leaders from within and outside the jewelry industry.

Who

Conversations in Park City is open to all jewelry industry executives interested in a weekend of unmatched learning, networking, and camaraderie. Attendees in 2022 included c-suite executives, prestigious retailers, renowned designers, and industry association leaders.  Spouses/significant others are welcome to enjoy the hotel and setting and are also invited to attend the opening night soirée.

Dates

Conversations in Park City begins Friday, October 13 with an evening event and ends Sunday, October 15 with lunch.  Attendees are welcome to participate in à la carte activities on Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. The St. Regis Deer Valley will honor the event room rate on Thursday, October 12 and Sunday, October 15 for those who wish to extend their stay.

Travel Details & Cost

Jewelers Mutual Group has reserved an event lodging block and will host all meals and events throughout the conference.  Activities will be available Friday and Sunday afternoons (before and after the conference) on an à la carte basis.

Attendees will be responsible for:

  • Retreat participation fee: $1,750 
  • Airfare
  • Hotel (at the discounted rate)
  • Incidentals
  • À la carte adventure activities (optional)

Salt Lake City International airport (SLC) is located one hour from The St. Regis Deer Valley and is reachable by direct flights from all major U.S. cities, as well as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, and Paris. 

Airport transfers will again be covered by Jewelers Mutual Group.

Learning

Attendees will learn about consumer experience trends from Jeff Weiner, a trends researcher and practitioner working at the nexus of media, culture, and technology.  His work includes structuring innovation programs for luminary brands like Four Seasons, Chanel, Microsoft, Target, and Walmart.

Jeff will curate a selection of trends, brought to life by subject matter experts that unfold along the consumer journey.  This year, guests can anticipate conversations on themes such as creativity, AI, loyalty, sustainability and more.

Activities

Once again, Conversations in Park City will offer attendees the option to participate in à la carte adventure activities. Activities such as hiking, mountain biking, skeet shooting, river fishing, and more provide unmatched opportunities to bond with friends old and new.  Activities are offered on Friday and Sunday afternoons (before and after the conference).
