This is a one-page Jewelers Mutual "Robbery Checklist" infographic in three parts.
Before the robbery covers preparedness: keep the crisis management plan current, assign and rehearse roles (locking doors, calling police, caring for the injured, protecting evidence), keep emergency numbers accessible, and stock an emergency kit (call list, water, first-aid kit, disposable phone/charger).
After the robbery (immediately) covers actions right after the robbers leave: never chase them, look for a getaway car only if safe, lock doors against re-entry, call 911 immediately, give dispatch the robber's departure time, description, direction, and travel method, and stay on the line until told to hang up.
After calling authorities covers scene management: care for the injured, halt business and keep everyone but responders out, preserve evidence (don't touch anything, protect the scene), avoid discussing details with witnesses, get witness descriptions and contact info, notify insurance and management, defer all questions to police, step outside when they arrive, avoid disclosing loss estimates, and cooperate fully with the investigation (interviews, suspect ID, court testimony).
