As a valued Jewelers Mutual customer, we’re honored to help you protect all your treasured pieces.
As a Jewelers Mutual policyholder, any new jewelry you purchase is automatically covered for the first 30 days, giving you time to add it to your policy. Please note that this coverage does not extend past your policy expiration date. Whether you recently bought, were gifted, or inherited a piece of jewelry, coverage extends up to 25% of your current policy schedule, $10,000, or the cost to repair or replace your item with something of similar quality—whichever is lower.
Your fine jewelry—including rings, bracelets, earrings, watches, pendants, and pearls—is protected against almost every imaginable risk life may throw at your jewelry.
You can trace it back— your bracelet slipped off while shopping. You can point to the moment it went missing, and you’re covered.
A break-in at home or a pickpocket on vacation—no matter where it happens, we’ll replace what’s stolen.
A prong bends, a gemstone chips, or your bracelet takes an unexpected dip in the garbage disposal. Accidents happen—we’ve got you covered.
One day it’s there, the next it’s not—no clue how or where it went. If your jewelry vanishes without explanation, don’t stress, you’re protected.*
Fires, floods, hurricanes, and even earthquakes—if a disaster damages your jewelry, we’ll make it right.
Lost your necklace in a Paris hotel? Left your ring in a cab in Tokyo? No matter where you are, your jewelry stays protected.
If your appraisal is over two years old at renewal, we may automatically adjust coverage limits every two years to help keep up with rising jewelry values.**
We cover proactive jewelry care, including prong re-tipping and repair, stone tightening, earring post and clasp replacement.*
This ensures all your jewelry is insured under one policy, with all items listed under one account that you can manage at any time.

You may have created an online account when you applied for insurance. If not, you’ll need to register for one. Once logged in, head to the ‘My Policy’ section on your dashboard and select ‘View Details'.
Click on ‘Add/Update Jewelry.’
Choose the ‘Add an Item’ button.
Next, please complete the required fields, which will ask for details like your last valuation date and the retail replacement value.
Your policy with Jewelers Mutual Group is a repair or replacement policy. It’s not a cash reimbursement policy.
The amount you choose when applying for coverage is the maximum we’ll pay for repairs or replacements in the event of a loss, so it’s crucial to get it right. This is often referred to as the "replacement value" – the amount that would cover the cost to replace your item.
To ensure accurate coverage, we recommend using a jewelry appraisal from the last two years, as values can fluctuate over time. While an appraisal or receipt isn’t always required when applying, uploading one during the process is recommended since it will be necessary for any claims.
With Jewelers Mutual, you can easily add or update the jewelry wearer on your policy by calling 888-884-2424. The additional wearers must be a spouse or someone primarily living in the same residence.
To have someone, like an assistant, add items or manage your account for you, please call us at 888-884-2424 to authorize them.
