FOX CITIES, Wis. – (January 4, 2023) – Jewelers Mutual® Group, the Neenah-based insurer dedicated to safeguarding jewelry and jewelry businesses for 110 years, has been certified as a platinum-level Employee Friendly Workplace in the Fox Cities. The honor marks the third certification in four years for the company, which was named a silver-certified Employee Friendly Workplace in 2020, and a gold-certified Employee Friendly Workplace in 2021. Reaching this top honor speaks to their dedication to continually working to make Jewelers Mutual an employer of choice in the Fox Cities.

The Employee Friendly Workplace certification program was created by the Fox Cities Chamber to recognize area employers who demonstrate a significant commitment to promoting work/life integration by creating a positive work environment and experience for all employees. The platinum-level distinction is awarded to Employee Friendly Workplaces that exemplify a supportive work environment by prioritizing policies and practices focused on employee wellbeing.

“Jewelers Mutual has truly shown a commitment to becoming the best possible place to work for its employees,” said Eric Broten, VP – Business Growth and Development at the Fox Cities Chamber. “And that’s exactly what we’re looking to nurture and celebrate through the Employee Friendly Workplace Initiative. An Employee Friendly Workplace is not only good for the employees, but also beneficial for the employer with rewards like improved employee engagement and loyalty. And as we look to attract and retain talent throughout the Fox Cities, we want our region to become well known for embracing these values of work/life integration.”

At the heart of Jewelers Mutual's core principles lies the understanding that its employees are its most valuable asset. To this end, the company has championed numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience. Key highlights of Jewelers Mutual's platinum-certified workplace include its 401(k) plan with 100% company match, annual contribution program, charitable donation matching and a robust employee wellbeing program – featuring generous paid paternal leave, extensive PTO hours, paid volunteer hours, financial support, guidance and retirement planning, continuing education opportunities and performance incentives.

"Our employees are the center stone of the company’s success. We are proud to see that our continued focus and care for them and their professional growth and development has earned platinum certification through the Fox Cities Employee Friendly Workplace initiative,” said Scott Murphy, President and Chief Executive Officer at Jewelers Mutual. “We view this recognition as a catalyst for instigating positive transformation within our company’s culture to ensure its brilliance and vitality for the next 110 years.”
